Tallinn Dolls is the 18th Estonian company to join the online fur-free list of top brands - such as Versace, Gucci, Armani, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Calvin Klein - by publicly committing to fur-free fashion.
China designers and media pledge fur-free future at Shanghai fashion events
Three top China fashion designers announced their commitment to an entirely fur-free future at ACTAsia’s Fur-Free Fashion Forum and Gala in Shanghai last month. Grace Chen, Mary Ma, and Michael Wong have all signed up to the Fur Free Retailer scheme (FFR). They join almost 40 fashion labels and designers from China, who help make up an ever-growing global total that currently numbers 890.
Versace says fur is over!
In a recent interview with The Economist's style magazine 1843 Donatella Versace revealed she will no longer use fur in any of her designs: “Fur? I’m out of that. I don’t want to kill animals to make fashion. It doesn’t feel right.”
Michael Kors announces fur-free policy
Michael Kors Holdings Limited, a global fashion luxury group, today announced that it will no longer use animal fur in its products, with production being phased out by the end of December 2018. With this announcement, Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo have joined the international Fur Free Retailer Program.
